Withdrawal of Goodwill Daily Update

2/13/2023

Dear Members,

Following our bulletin to you last week, we were made aware of Agency comms which highlighted ‘confidence’ that the pay award would be announced in parliament next week - in time for your salary finally hitting your bank accounts on the 24th February. Previously, the Agency were ‘confident’, it would be signed off and published on the 9th February. This did not happen.

It is therefore abundantly clear that being ‘confident’, does not provide any assurances that, ‘unequivocally’, your 6 month delayed pay award will be made on the 24th February. The closure of parliament this week, and potentially a number of unforeseen issues arising which must be heard at the earliest opportunity next week, create clear and substantial jeopardy for NCA pay.

Since Friday, I’m sorry to say that we have still not received any guarantees from the Agency or any Govt departments that you pay award will definitely land next week. Therefore, until we hear otherwise the withdrawal of goodwill by NCOA sends a clear message to all parties, and should continue until the matter is resolved. We are keen that this action continues no longer than is absolutely necessary and therefore commit to proving daily updates on our website from 5pm. Please check to see if there is any change to the current status right here on our news pages.

Regards
