The first Gross Misconduct hearing in the NCA was held recently and the NCOA defended members throughout the proceedings.
The case was complex and the allegations were of a nature that placed the members at risk of dismissal from the organisation. The NCOA successfully challenged a number of aspects of the allegations and were able to present a strong case which resulted in all of the members being retained within the organisation.
The members themselves were extremely grateful to the NCOA for the support and expertise of the representative concerned and commend the importance of union membership to all members of staff.
