The National Crime Officers Association are preparing a pay claim which will be submitted, via the Office of Manpower Economics (OME), to the NCA Remuneration Review Body (RRB) by the 31st January.
There will also be an oral presentation to the NCA RRB in early March where the NCOA, the employer and other unions will be required to provide evidence of their individual claims which will result in a decision and ultimate implementation of any subsequent award on the 1st August 2014.
The NCOA submission will seek to secure an inflation proofed pay award for all our members who have been designated with NCA Cross Powers and will focus on the following areas:
- Uniqueness of occupation
- Recruitment
- Retention
- Motivation
