Dear Members,
Hopefully you will realise that the NCOA has always worked hard to deliver value for money for members, even though the demands on our organisation increase year on year through representation and the costs of partner support.
Whilst we have consistently resisted annual subscription increases which simply mirror the increased annual costs placed upon us, it is inevitable that from time to time we have to responsibly review monthly subscription fees. This ensures that we remain able to deliver a professional and effective service to our members.
As part of its scheduled review, the National Executive Committee of the NCOA met recently to discuss standard membership fees and took the decision to introduce revised subscriptions from the 1st June 2026 as follows,
• Grade 6 (And part time workers up to and incl G2) - £13.25
• Grade 5 to Grade 2 members - £18.45
• Grade 1 (and existing SCS members) - £23.75
It is considered that these modest increases will enable the NCOA to continue to provide the unique support required by NCA officers particularly as you move closer towards integration within the National Police Service.
For those of you who recall the transition from the pre-cursor agencies forming the Serious Organised Crime Agency in 2006 and the subsequent transition to the National Crime Agency in 2013, you will recognise the importance of the NCOA’s role moving forward. Your subscriptions will help ensure that you are protected and professionally represented by a dedicated and knowledgeable team, at what will inevitably turn out to be a critical point in your law enforcement career.
Best wishes,
Simon Boon - CEO
